About the Author
Ruth Maurer, Ph.D., is currently a faculty mentor in the school of Applied Management and Decision Sciences at Walden University, a pioneer in graduate level distance education. She was previously the chair of the Ph.D. program at Walden's AMDS school, and is also a Professor Emerita at the Colorado School of Mines. She specializes in applied operations research, strategic planning and quality control. Dr. Thomas M. Box is a professor of Management at the Kelce College of Management, Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. His research interests are in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship and pedagogy. hie is currently the editor of the American Entrepreneurship Journal. Steven Yourstone is a professor of decision sciences and productions operations management in the Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico.
