For those seeking a general understanding of the major aspects of forecasting, product and service design, strategic capacity planning, quality management, inventory management, scheduling, SCM and so on, this is a great book. I loved the way Stevenson reduced the complex procdedures to easily understable steps. There's no wonder why this has become the most widely used text in Operations Management.

This was my first reading of such a lengthy textbook that also incorporates principles of managerial accounting, finance, and economics along with project management. The course I was taking was only six weeks long, and I assure you that in-depth study and mastery of the material takes longer. It was a nice balance of theory and application in formula and calculation. I found the text well laid out and easy to follow in most areas, as the author does a superb job of keeping description and explanation as simple as possible. I heartily recommend this book for anyone serious about the study of operations management.

If you are considering the int'l ed of this book, do not hesitate. I used it, it was identical to the US hardcover. Page for page every problem was the same. The only difference is the cover.

I recently spent $80 for theOperations Management Kindle Edition of this book and it's really not ready for primetime. I don't know what the publisher did, but there is mis-aligned text and graphics, random characters through the text and misspelled words, and this is only in the first chapter. Did anyone QA this thing?

This book is very useful and easy to understand. I would recommend this book to others in the MBA program.

I have purchased many books, and sold many, on Amazon. When I received this book I found that it was not the edition that I had sought. I had been led along the Amazon pathway to the seller site. I needed a 10th edition and bought this book with that understanding. When delivery was made I found the book to be in good condition, however, for my MBA class it is quite deficient. Much of the internal information has been altered and my instructor will not make allowances for edition differences. He suggested that I might want to get the correct edition. Unfortunately, I cannot quite afford to buy two books for the same class...I have a current 4.0 but by the time I get out of my current class, utilizing the WRONG BOOK, I may very well have dropped in GPA. Very disappointed in seller and Amazon. I know the review says this was the paperback edition...WRONG, AGAIN...THIS IS HARDBACK BOOK EDITION.

I was very happy with the order that I placed. I received the book in only a couple of days. And I am 100 percent satisfied.

I am waiting for another week before my Operational Management course starts. But, from what I have checked so far the book seems very informational and I am sure it will work wonders for my course and for me in the long run. Looking forward to using this book on a regular basis which will help me in my organizational goals.

I am currently using the text and so far it has helped me tremendously in performing well on my tasks.

It was a good purchase. Under the time listed. would buy from this seller again!
