5.0 out of 5 stars Campino XTC
Yeah, I don't know what I would have ever done without Toten Hosen stuff, have a few of their records that I've managed to gather over the last 4 years and a couple shirts(BZBE,Campino Friss Oder Stirb) that I wear with pride! It's definately helped my German, and even convinced me to make a hobby of it while continuing to pursue the language at University. They have...

1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING!
Die Toten Hosen are one of my favorite bands of all time, but I'll be the first to admit that this is the worst album they ever released. Sure, I salute their urge to branch out but the execution falls flatter than Marlin Brando jumping off the Sears Tower. Do not buy this album unless you really need to own everything by them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Campino XTC, December 17, 2004
This review is from: Opium Furs Volk (Audio CD)
Yeah, I don't know what I would have ever done without Toten Hosen stuff, have a few of their records that I've managed to gather over the last 4 years and a couple shirts(BZBE,Campino Friss Oder Stirb) that I wear with pride! It's definately helped my German, and even convinced me to make a hobby of it while continuing to pursue the language at University. They have amazingly deep lyrics thanks to the intellectual German haze that gives english-speakers such a wild trip trying to understand them and most of their songs are very addictive and enticing, whether its one that's a lot of fun or one that's more profound. Oh, and XTC is just a crazy, crazy song! Get it, you'll totally love it! Like, I'm serious, I mean you'll not ever look back. buut I'm out.>J<. PEACE ahha

5.0 out of 5 stars German rocks!!, May 25, 2004
This review is from: Opium Furs Volk (Audio CD)
i got this cd from my crazy aunt when i was 8 years old or so, and then i didn'r really understand much of their songs but i loved the music. and so i grew up with it, understanding more and more of the meaning of their lyrics and still loving thier music. it is awesome music to rock, to realax, or to get some inspiration about this wired world and it's issues. tote hosen are a great band with a hot lead singer (campino!!):) and really good lyrics! i think you should definately have this cd, if your german or not german(i am!!!!)
PEACE

5.0 out of 5 stars Best punk Band ever, October 2, 2005
This review is from: Opium Furs Volk (Audio CD)
Okay, I'm a german punk so I must love die Toten hosen, and I love it and this Album is really the best, the Hosen ever made because the very pregnant Metal influences maybe inspired by schweineherbst of Slime, and uh yeah the name of the album is inspired by Slime, because they sang "Religion Opium fürs Volk"
and this Album is a lot about religion!

My favorite Songs:
Mensch
Seelentherapie
Paradies
10 kleine Jägermeister

5.0 out of 5 stars Their Best One!!!!!, April 2, 2000

This CD is a must for any Toten Hosen Fan. The album contains such a wide variety of songs, from those that will make thrash around to those that you can't help but to tap your feet to. It's amazing to see the difference in this album and Damenwahl. If you are a fan and don't have this, stop whatever you are doing now and get it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Die Toten Hosen sind die Besten, June 17, 1999

So viele gute Songs auf einem Album; das schaffen nur die Toten Hosen. Live klingt "Zehn kleine Jaegermeister" zwar nicht so gut wie auf der CD, dafuer ist der Rest besser als gut.

This CD contains some of the best songs by Die Toten Hosen, including their most famous "Zehn Kleine Jägermeister". XTC gives you the hardest song I've heard yet from the Hosen. If you've heard Die Toten Hosen before, but don't have this one, you need it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best album I even heard, October 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Opium Fuers Volk (Audio CD)
Die Toten Hosen from Düsseldorf is the best punk group in Germany and the whole world. The songs are full of energy, and if you listen to them you'll forget all of your problems. It makes you free. My favourite is 'Paradies', because of its lyrics. If anyone doesn't speak German, despite of this he will understand it. All of their songs are cool. Campino is really the BEST. The others are very good, too.

Yo no hablo alemán, pero éste me da una razón buena. Nunca he oído musica como esta en español ni inglés, sólo el Hosen puede hacerlo así :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Die Hosen are great, even for Americans, March 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Opium Fuers Volk (Audio CD)
This entire CD rocks from start to end. Zehn Kleine Jägermeister is one of the best songs I've ever heard. It replaces the cliche 99 bottles of beer with a modern hard core (and hard liquor) rendition
