Oppera is one of the most amazing bands today. All of the songs on this CD stick in your head for the rest of the day and leave you wanting more. I'm not sure whether Martika or Michael are more talented. Creative variations abound on this fabulous CD. This is a must for anyone who likes deep, dark rock music. These songs can be understood and deeply felt by everyone... Try it and you'll love it!

i grew up on tiffany, debbie and martika i love all of them too this day and i love all there recent work Tiffany- dust off and dance and Debbie gibson - naked but i can't seem to get into the music that Martika has created with Oppera, i bought the first cd by Oppera and i was only pleased to hear Martika's voice if your a true Martika fan buy this album and the first album to support a great singer who know's maybe you'll like it!!

Everyone needs to purchase the new album from Oppera. I was blown away. It consists of pop star Martika who had a #1 hit with Toy Soldiers in 1989 and Michael Mozart, a brilliant musician. Together they create Oppera, an amazing new duo who have put together one of the most rockin cd's of the year. Combining Martika's soaring vocals and Michaels fierce musical talents, Oppera has what it takes to be the next Evanescence. Their music can be described as Goth Pop. Their are numerous highlights. Starting with first single "So" which contains one of the most exciting openings I can remember. It's thrilling and one of those songs that needs to be played at full volume. Martika shows her vocal chops on the midtempo track "Release Me" and "This Lonely Life" is a stunning haunting power ballad. "I'm In Love With Someone Else" is a fantastic pop song destined to be a major mainstream hit. Oppera rocks out on such tracks as "Ride The Wave" and "The Only One" and Michael even showcases his strong vocals on the prince like track "Another Dollar". Oppera is truly one of the best new groups today. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to experience this talented new group. They have on of the best albums of the year, and they deserve to be at the top.

I was blown away when I first heard Oppera's debut cd,Violince, but it further proves Oppera's outstanding appeal and talent when it came to releasing their new self-titled cd, Oppera. Like others have said and I agree with them that this new cd, Oppera is full of hits. Martika and Michael are true masters of their art and they deliver an ever better album than Violince, which is what true artist do. Oppera is very similar to Violince, but much more diverse and on a deeper level. It lets the listener more into Michael and Martika's personal lives. Songs like "So," "Release Me (My fave)," "I'm In Love with Someone Else," and "Another Dollar (Another fave and Michael sounds sooooo amazing)," and "Rock Us Anna," really grasp the listener and never bores him. I can not stop playing this cd because it is just that awesome. I also have heard Oppera perform live on their Border's tour and they sound fantastic live. They use no gimmicks or whatnot, obviously, because they sound exactly like their cd, which showcases their unbelievable vocals. I highly recommend this Cd because it is just that good. If you like this cd, also purchase Oppera's debut, Violince. You will not be disappointed. I promise!!!!

I really love this cd! It is amazing! There are few bands able to create a CD with amazing songs from start to finish. Oppera is certainly capable. Excellent lyrics, sublime tunes, Michael (Another Dollar)'s voice is amazing. Martika!!!....you go girl!!! Her voice is outstanding and this album shows what she can do. , "SO" is a real powerful song, here's when the CD starts to get incredible."RELEASE ME" is a another killer song!!! Mozart does an amazing job in "ANOTHER DOLLAR", what a great song!!!! I really enjoy the songs "JUST RIDE THE WAVE", "THE ONLY ONE", " SINCE YOU'VE BEEN AWAY" just to name some of my favorites. I loved their debut album VIOLINCE, but this album just confirm to me what I have always believe, They are extremely talented, the songs are simply incredible
This cd really flows, I can truly listen to this on shuffle and not fast forward one song. GOOD JOB GUYS!
I'm sure You won't be disappointed if you buy it. I recommend it 100%

i have to admit, i prefer my martika a little more r&b/pop-y than her work with oppera has been, but i can't just get enough of her voice, so i keep buying her cds. even though the music isn't my typical style, it's undeniable that her voice is very well-suited to rock. while my favourite track on oppera's debut was the playful "that's just the way it is", this album's stand-out track, for me, is the more serious "rock us anna".

I thought the debut was bad but this one is far beyond bad. It will make you cringe and want to do yourself a favor by ripping your own ears off.
