I have this book at home already (didnt order from Amazon) and its not a bad book, seems a tad dated (I guess a lot changes in 12 years, salary wise anyways!), but it gives you overall backgrounds on several possible careers in the landscape arena. As I am a "Landscape Designer', it didnt have a lot that applied to my particular area of interest, but it does cover L. Architecture (way more college involved!), working at botanical gardens etc. So, for the price, I would certainly recommend this book if you are at all interested in the landscaping fields.

This book is pretty helpful, even if you already know quite a bit about the subject. It is informative and helps with narrowing down the career options you have.
