I bought this book for my girlfriend, who's about to start school for occupational therapy assistant. She found the book enlightening and insightful. It offered a good explanation as well as a broad outline of the field and the employment positions with in it. She was able to narrow down what sort of work she was interested in doing and what sort of people she would like to work with. I definitely recommend it for anyone who's curious about the field of occupational therapy and is look for a little more clarity on the subject. This book is a big help.

Give this book 2 stars because it has good general info; its ok for the most part; accurate info for someone who doesn't know a thing about Occupational Therapy. I gave this book a chance figuring it would have additional information regarding this profession, but for the most part you don't need to buy this - you can always find everything on the internet. Still if you don't want to do the research, purchasing this is a good decision and for $10, its pretty cheap.
