This book has great construction. If I had more time, I would give this book a review that would do it justice. Check it out! Buy it! You won't regret it.

Great Book, watch the little hands,

The reason books like this one are so great are the moving parts that entertain kids so much. However, it is also their downfall as they rip easily when used by little hands. You have to be vigilant in making sure they are careful or the book will rip to shreds very quiclky.
Not recommended for rougher children, unless you plan to keep it out of reach and only read it with them. However, it is a beautiful book with great illustrations and good presenation of opposites.

This is a very fun, creative opposites book with flip ups, twists, pull flaps, etc. Very colorful, well-depicted, and engaging--a great book!

This is a great book... very hands on and keeps little ones engaged! Get ready to buy two (one that they can play with on their own, and one for reading with an adult). My first copy is torn beyond repair, and my son still brings it to me as his first choice.

My son learnt the opposites in no time, he also has a lot of fun with all the various push/pull flaps and so on. I think its a wonderful book, with great illustrations and ideas. A must have in my opinion.
I agree that things to do tear, but that is true of any book with moving parts. We've had it for 2 years and we've lost the roller coaster and we had to fix the alligator's mouth. My son has been handling it a lot and by no means is it in shreds (he is no more or less gentle than most boys his age). |
