I'll admit, I'm not an avid Oprah fan, I have nothing against her but I'm not a die hard either. I picked up this book and was immediately drawn to the way she speaks. Tuchy has put together a culmination of quotes that have come from Oprah herself and categorized them. It was fun and interesting to learn about Oprah and all the more wonderful because although it wasn't written by Oprah in some ways it feels it was, because it is centered around things she has said. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and learning about oprah, and would recommend it to avid fans and to anyone interested in learning a little more about a person, namely Oprah.

I love anything written by Carl Tuchy Palmieri and I loved this book! He is the master of assembling quotes and pertinant info about a subject and compiling them into a great read. I love Oprah Winfrey and he seems to have taken the best things she has ever said and shows you how to apply them to your life. Can't wait for his next book.

When I started to read Oprah, In Her Words: Our American Princess by Carl Tuchy Palmieri I expected something completely different. I was suprised to find the book full of quotes, ideas of how to interpret them, and worksheets to make them your own. I admit, I wasn't a big fan of Oprah before reading this book but now I can see what a great person she is. I feel as if Palmieri has made me understand her better and just what makes her tick. Great book.

As one of Oprah's fans I found this book to be very encouraging. Oprah is strong woman with a strong and postive outlook on life. This masterpiece

by Tuchy Palmieri has put hand picked a collection of not only Oprah's quotes, but suggested affirmations, inquiries, and actions. Surprisingly, it also

comes with it's own workbook to write your own suggested markings. This is just another one of Tuchy Palmieri's work of art. The inspirational

quotes by such a successful woman are truely motivational. Oprah, In her Words will continue to be one of my favorite reads.

This book will appeal to a wide audience, even those who are not loyal Oprah fans. It contains quotes by a wide variety of people that will allow you to think deeper about your own life and situations. He even includes room to jot down your thoughts and asks questions that help you examine topics closer and more personally. This book can be a quick read while waiting in a doctor's office or an indepth self help book. Or both! It is such a great book. I highly recommend it as well as Palmier's other books.

I found the book "Oprah, In Her Words: Our American Princess" by Carl Tuchy Palmieri a delight to read and enjoyed the workbook pages also. As an Oprah fan I thought the book was about her life but instead it is a compilation of quotes from her shows and writings that Mr. Palmieri gathered. After each quote is an affirmation, a question and an action followed by a workbook page for you to put down your thoughts. I feel the book is a type of self-help book that uses many beautiful, insightful and humorous quotations from Oprah Winfrey as a way of having you look into yourself. I would recommend this book to all readers whether you are a fan of Oprah Winfrey or not.

I totally enjoyed reading Tuchy Palmieri's book "Oprah, In Her Words: Our American Princess". The author has grouped together a number of interesting, insightful and thought provoking quotes from Oprah Winfrey and set them in a way that each quote gives you food for thought. The book is created in a workbook style. Following each quote is a question, an affirmation, an action and an area for you to write down thoughts and answers. An inspiring and well written book, I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to take a deeper look into themselves.

Tuchy Palmieri really captured her essence in this well written and encouraging book. Not only does it teach us a little more about Oprah through her own words, it gives the reader some guidance and life-lessons along the way. I would recommend this self-help book to anyone looking for growth in life, or anyone who likes Oprah.

What a wonderful idea for a book! It's inspiring, informative, and insightful. Touchy Palmieri cleverly uses carfully selected quotes from Oprah Winfrey and analyzes them for the reader to gain insight from. Oprah's quotes cover a wide variety of topics from Friendship and Success to Inspiration and Men. Touchy provides an affirmation, inquiry, and a suggested action with each quote, and there is space provided for the reader to make their own reflections and create an action plan. It gives so much insight into Oprah and the reader really learns what is important to her and how she deals with many things in her life. I would recommend it to any Oprah fan and to any woman or man looking to be a little more like Oprah.
