Fit my sigma flash perfect, the only thing is the packaging stated it was for a canon flash, but once i put it on it fit perfect, and if it is pushed on properly, it's nice and tight and definetly does it's job and soften's up that harsh light.

This diffuser was designed to snugly fit a canon 580EX flash not the Sigma 530. Attaching the diffuser takes a bit of effort so is removing. The vendor should advertise this product as a universal fit made for Canon flashes instead of advertising it specifically for the Sigma 530 flash only. I was tempted to return the product if not for the shipping which costs more than the item itself.

The diffuser isn't an exact fit. You have to kind of push it on hard. It's snug and stays on. Works fine as a diffuser.

As mentioned in some other review, this item is not designed for Sigma flash - the description is not correct, product clearly marked as designed for Canon flashes.
It fits Sigma if you put a little bit of force to deform it before attaching it to the flash. I do not think it is too bad - diffuser is made out of soft plastic, it should handle such deformations OK.
But it should not be marked as "diffuser for Sigma" on this site. It would be nice, actually, if Opteka makes different mold dedicated for Sigma. Other than that, seems to create nice even light environment, much better than without diffuser (especially if used with bounce from the ceiling).

When I ordered the Opteka Flash Diffuser for the Sigma EF-500 & EF-530 DG ST & Super Flashes for my Sigma 530 ST, I was looking for something to help even out the light from this very powerful flash. I will admit that when it arrived I was concerned as the packaging was marked as a diffuser for a Canon 580 EX flash.

The Diffuser fit my 530 ST just fine though and works well for what it costs. Most of the time I use flash for real estate photography and this diffuser does a good job of spreading the light out evenly around the room. I would recommend it to owners of the Sigma 530 ST or Super looking for a cheap solution to diffusing your flash.
