I own a Canon EF 28-135 IS USM SLR lens and the fit is perfect. No complaints whatsoever.

Overall this hood is just fine and cheaper than the Canon version. I doesn't fit perfectly like my Canon hood does (there is a little gap on one side), but it does the job. Quick shipment.

Works just as well as the Canon hood for half the price. You don't have to break the bank for a good product.

It fit well to my lens, and it is much cheaper than the Canon one.

But it's a bit too big for my camera bag (but I guess that's my problem). I know I can put it to the lens the other way round when I store it in the bag, but it's still rather inconvenient.

The item was shipped immediately after placing the order. Everything was as described in the item description.

Takes a quarter turn to screw onto the lens instead of the clamp on like the Canon hoods. Not a big deal for the improvement in pictures. And the difference in price.

I had this delivered to me roughly under 5 days to my door which is impressive because my e-mail said 7-12 days. I love the price & I love this lens hood! It does what it's made for. I don't know about the other reviews here complaining about fitment issues but I never had that problem. There IS a slight gap between the lens and the hood but it's nothing to worry about.=)

I bought this hood when I didn't want to fork out the money for the Canon version. Later I met someone who had the Canon hood and compared the two. The shape of the hood and its fitment are utterly identical. The overall base material is virtually identical as well. The Canon hood has some different texturing of the plastic on the inside, which you might experience a benefit from if you are a pro...but I don't know why a any exacting pro photographer wouldn't already have the Canon hood to begin with.

Either way, this hood is a perfectly valid alternative, cheaper, well made and sturdy, and gets the job done.
