pros -works great -easy to install -looks great -comes with adapter -received lense only 2 days after ordering cons -i'm not sure it magnifies 10x (still magnifys though)

Not Pleased with Macro Outcome
After receiving this lens and using it a few times, I wasn't impressed. The magnification is subpar...the G7 I have has a better manual focus for macro than this lens provides..in fact, even the auto macro function on my G7 works better! It doesn't do anything I'd write home about.

You get macro shots! You have to zoom in really close to avoid the blur, but you get great shots.

I am a beginner photographer so some instructions on how to get the most out of this product would have been helpful. Also the product came with 2 lens covers - one fit very well, the 2nd cover was too big and did not fit securely. It fell off and I have to find a replacement.
That said the pictures have been good and I will continue using for closeups of flowers, insects etc.
