4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it's supposed to do!
It's a little bulky and difficult to use, but it does work and it enables me to take my Canon XSi places I could only take a point and shoot before. I probably won't use it under water but you never know. I bought it so I could take my camera in our canoe and to the beach. I still look through the viewfinder, but if you use it underwater you will need live view on your...

I purchased this bag for a planned kayaking trip in Venice, Italy. I wanted to protect my Canon Rebel from salt water and still be able to take photos of the trip. Unfortunately, the bag never made it to Italy.

I recieved the bag promptly and decided to try it at home before I carried it in my luggage abroad. While the bag kept my camera bone dry, it was...

It's a little bulky and difficult to use, but it does work and it enables me to take my Canon XSi places I could only take a point and shoot before. I probably won't use it under water but you never know. I bought it so I could take my camera in our canoe and to the beach. I still look through the viewfinder, but if you use it underwater you will need live view on your camera. The pictures come out pefectly, you can't tell you took them through glass. I could have spent $1200 to get one of the fancy ones that work perfectly, but for $80 this ones just fine.

While the bag kept my camera bone dry, it was so bulky and ill fitting that it made the camera virtually impossible to use. I needed three hands to hold the bellows against the lens, balance the camera, and work the finger sleeve to adjust the settings and press the shutter. Also, in order to keep from seeing the outter casing, I had to hold the bellows tight, which would sometimes push on the lens and re-zoom my photos. Needless to say, it was a disaster and I ended up using disposable waterproof cameras on my trip instead.

In short, the size of the bag is too large for a Canon Rebel Xsi. The bellows design is impractical and doesn't hold close enough to a regular size lens to keep out of the photo. And the finger sleeve design is difficult to use when trying to manage the rest of the bag.

I would not recommend purchasing this bag.
