4.0 out of 5 stars fun to play, November 16, 2009

This review is from: Opteka Voyeur Right Angle Spy Lens for Olympus E-VOLT E-1, E-3, E-5, E-30, E-300, E-330, E-410, E-420, E-450, E-500, E-510, E-520, E-600 & E-620 Digital SLR Cameras (Electronics)
the major reason of purchasing this product is to take candid pictures of kids who don't want to face camera. it is a good product to achieve my goal but not for long most of the time. They found something wrong with the big hole of the lense sooner or later. The optical problem is that you have to learn how to adjust the device to compose a view since everything is opposite. You know it if you play the writing game against the mirro before. The reason I give 4 stars is that i found some crack on the edge of mirro. Since it won't reduce the purpose of the cheap device I choose to keep it. Enjoy the fun of the spy lense.

This lens worked well and the quality good. The photos came out a little soft.I used it on two cameras the Canon 40D and the Olympus
E-1. Both cameras pictures can out about the same quality. The learning curve is hard, when you use a telephoto lens that turn to auto-focus. The way I used was to 1st select my subject, then auto focus, then turn the spy lens to frame the subject. [...]
