This same item (even in the 2-pack) is much cheaper in local stores. That is the only downfall, which is not a defect in the product itself, just in Amazon's pricing.

I haven't been rendered blind since I started using it, so I gotta give it 5 stars!

My optometrist recommended this and Aquify, and having used several brands, I found Opti-Free to be the best. I've used it several years with no problems. It seems to clean my contacts effectively, and leaves them feeling very moist. That seems weird to say, but I have noticed the difference between this and others, as my contacts retain moisture and are more comfortable after using this.

I also like the Opti-Free Express, but I think Replenish leaves my eyes feeling better.

Very disappointed to report that I also have suffered a quasi-allergic reaction to this product. Here's my story: if I use it in conjunction with Clear Care and only as a rinse agent, it works fine, but if I try to use it to clean the contacts or store them overnight, within an hour I get bloodshot, painful eyes that feel like there are eyelashes stuck under the lenses or an infection. When I pull the contacts off after a day of wearing, it takes two days before I can wear contacts again.

At first I thought maybe my old lense case had a bacteria in it, so I changed the cases and started with a fresh pair of lenses. Same reaction. I continued to use it as a rinse agent for a while (I like to have some liquid in the lenses when I put them in after a night in Clear Care), but one day, I took out my contacts for a nap, put them in Optifree for the afternoon and forgot to put them in Clear Care that night. Woke in the morning, put the contacts that had been soaking in the Optifree in my eye and bam, bloodshot reaction less than 30 minutes later. 3-4 hours later, finally took them out and have that eye infection feeling. Again, a brand new, unused case.

Tried to report this to the company but they never returned my phone calls. Bad product, bad customer service. Don't buy.

This stuff frequently caused my contacts to irritate my eyes whenever I put them on. I eventuall gave up on it and threw away 2/3 of the 2nd remaining bottle in a pack of 2. When I switched to a different brand the irritation problem was instantly solved - go figure.

No comfort and its overpriced to boot. Stay away.

My doctor gave me a sample bottle of this solution for my last exam, she explained that while all solutions start the same way, this one should help with extended wear and cleaning. I liked it well enough that I ordered this two pack right before I ran out. The solution works exactly as any other multi-purpose solution, except I do notice that it takes an extra hour or two for my eyes to start feeling it is time to put away the contacts for the day. I currently wear Accuvue Oasis about 12 hours a day and I don't sleep with them except for short naps.

With this solution I am noticing that at the end of each 2-week wear cycle the lenses are in much better shape than with a generic solution. With the old solution I was using the lenses would barely make it to the end of the second week. On a daily basis, I wear the lenses comfortably for an extra hour or two before I feel like it is time to take them off. The eye drops companion product is really good but I almost never use it since the lenses always feel great.

I don't have any complaints about this solution, from what I can tell I have already gone through three 10-ounce bottles (plus the sampler) without issues.

I tried everything including Costo, Renew, and some other expensive stuff. With this I can wear contacts up to 16 hours a day no problem. All night poker, smoke filled room, dry and arid dessert walking tour, hours of computer usage, bicycling on a windy day...... All no problems. Night and day difference after 12 hours of wearing time compared to other brands.....

I don't like spending a lot of money on contact lens solution, but Opti-Free RepleniSH really is better than the no-rub store brands.

The new bottles are nice, too. The plastic seal is easy to remove, and the cap is a big flip top that (mostly) stays in place instead of those little snap tops common to contact lens solution that always seem to hang in the way when I'm filling up my contact lens case.

Most importantly, I notice a lot less build up on my disposable lenses. My contacts are comfortable to wear for weeks longer than when I use store brand solutions (taking them out every night, of course). This is the best solution I've tried!

This is an easy too use, all-in-one product for storing & rinsing my soft contacts. Like a few other reviews mentioned, it made my eyes sting when I put my contacts in. The problem was solved when I started using contact lense rewetting drops. I put a few drops in each lense before putting them in my eyes and the sting was gone.
