This book provides many design example, and its design approach. It provides a good start for a new thin film design and provide reader good understanding on why and how to start a design! It also provides many useful tools in the Chapter 10, Miscellaneous Topics. It provides many handy calculation formulas. Some formulas take me days to develop on my own! If I have read this book years ago, it will make my job much easier! It is a must have book for any optical thin film coating engineer!
