This review is from: Optical Waves in Layered Media (Wiley Series in Pure & Applied Optics) (Hardcover)
This is a fantastic book for scientists and engineers dealing with EM waves in stratified/layered media. It covers the simple case and anisotropic cases. Clearly presents both Fresnel equations, Airy sums, multilayer transfer matrices, and about everything else you want when dealing with these materials. Is also very practical and presents equations clearly, it is less theoretically oriented so it is great for piratical use, giving you what you need instead of just the starting point. If you deal with EM waves and dielectrics - just buy the book.

Great book. Had all the information I needed. Easy access. It's not a book for beginners. |
