These batteries are the best on the market. I like that they are maintenance free, especially the ones that are not easily accessible on my boat. I love Amazon because one battery was delivered dropped by the shipper, box broke. Amazon quickly sent me out another one. I just replaced the two batteries I ordered this past weekend. All worked just fine and easily cranked over my twin Honda 4 Stroke 130s. The sea trial will begin in a few weeks and if all looks good electronically, I will be confident to venture out 25 miles into the Gulf and not worry if my batteries will live or die out there. These batteries replaced my old West Marine Dual Purpose 12 volt batteries. The strength of these are twice as much as my old batteries. This gives me twice as much power and time when out there running stereo FF and GPS etc.
I would highly recommend ordering these Optima Batteries especially for rough outdoor use.

This battery is expensive compared to what you can find locally. However, it has performed great so far and I expect it to last a long long time. They claim that optima batteries can be charged and discharged 3 times more than standard batteries, so that is why I spent the extra money.

Optima blue top marine/deepcycle battery.The group 31 is the most powerful, with the highest amp hour rating. The best battery with an immensely long life. The key to long life is using a marine deep cycle battery charger, 10-12 amps, tops. Keep it charged and store it properly. I have had one of these last 7 years now... and it is still going strong. I use it for Cpap machine when camping and other uses too. No water to add ever, no leakage possible. Is a AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat Battery) Highly recommended!

I bought three of the Optima batteries for RV and Boat use, all worked very well, provided great power and recharged well and easily compared to the early Optimas that required special chargers.
the problem has been that all three batteries are dead and won't take a charge, each was used in a different location and a different application, so for all three to last a little over a year and all die tells me it wasn't simply using one on the boat that ruined it, or that using one on the RV as a main battery wrecked that one, all three are dead and that's VERY EXPENSIVE to replace each year.
Much better of cost wise to buy the RV/Marine batteries from wallyWorld and scrap them for lead each year, they cost under ninety bucks each, these blue tops were almsot 250 with shipping EACH>
I can not recommend a battery this expensive that doesnt last more than a year. Heck I ahve Die Hards here that I've been using for over 5 years and they are still pushing the trolling motor fine.

I bought two of these batteries for my boat and they are working wonderfully.I would recommend this product to anyone along with the connection of a NOCO GEN2 NOCO Genius Black 12-24V 2-Bank 20A On-Board Battery Charger. Especially if you don't use your bat that often. Keeps the batteries like new.

The battery came fully charged. I've used these before and they last twice as long as regular batteries and need no water. They hold a charge for months. Can't go wrong with this battery.

My hobby is auto racing and I have had a Optima yellow top battery in my race car for over 8 years and it has performed flawlessly. When the battery o the backup sump pump in my house died I wanted the same reliability so I shopped Amazon for an Optima deep cycle. It may be overkill as cost is about twice a generic battery at a big box store but my basement is full of expensive car parts and documents that would be devastating to lose in a flood.
