Good, but unclear who the audience is,

The book is filled with interesting examples and proofs, especially of classical linear algebra results using optimization techniques, but tries to span too many possible audiences. Too textbook-like for a casual read, but not quite a textbook, and too unorganized for a pure reference. Worth flipping through to see if anything stands out to you, but probably not worth having on your shelf. The person most likely to enjoy this book is a prospective or first-year economics grad student interested in the math for its own sake.
