Product Description

Keeping up with Amazon and the digital revolution demands you optimize your books like a Web site. Just like a Web site, your books now exist in digital formats being overrun by electronic Web crawlers, humorously called spiders. These long-legged digital explorers gather data and index your words. Also, like a Web site, keywords and keyphrases drive traffic to your books.
Optimizing, or spidering, means designing your book and Web site to attract the digital robots, not repel them. This helps your book rank higher in the search engines where your readers can find you.
Begin by thinking of your book as a resource—not a one-time read to be buried prematurely on the bookshelf. Turn to the appendices of this book for ideas and examples for both fiction and nonfiction authors to increase the sales appeal and life of their books. Your words spring from your imagination. Use your same creativity to build in marketing power for your readership.
As search capabilities continue evolving, designing your book from the inside out to attract electronic spiders becomes all-important. Optimizing your book like a Web site as you write helps promote your creative talents and expertise everywhere someone uses a computer, smart phone, or reading device—all over the world.

Hey Patsy, I just returned from Las Vegas where my wife attended a conference. Since I don't gamble I listened to a few podcast while I was there. While listening to Willie Crawford I heard him interview you on your book about optimizing your publication for the Kindle using keywords, etc.

Great Interview!

I've listened to Willie for quite some time and I thought your interview was one of his best.

More About the Author

Patsy Rae Dawson, an International marriage consultant, has mentored both husbands and wives for 40 years. Her expertise ranges from the beautiful sexual teachings of the Song of Solomon to the complex issues of difficult marriages. Her unique ability to unlock the scriptures and challenge traditional views makes Patsy a popular speaker and writer.

Her readers describe her as gutsy, bold, and the most outspoken Christian woman on sex, referring to her frankness and not holding anything back.

Patsy is known as the lady who asks too many questions. Her dad liked to say, "As a child, when everyone else was laughing at my story, Patsy would ask, Is that the truth?"

Continuing to ask that question throughout her life, plus searching for answers for her students, has led Patsy on some amazing journeys and discoveries. One preacher said, "I'm reading your Song of Solomon material again and am continually amazed at your insights."

Patsy's 26 writing awards include First Place at the prestigious Texas Christian Writers Conference in Houston for Challenges in Marriage: What to Do When Sin Inhibits Love, and First Place with The Song of Solomon: God's Sex Education.

PatsyRaeDawson.com deals with the good, the bad, and the ugly facing modern marriages. Her Embarrass the Alligator newsletter at EmbarrasstheAlligator.com, with columns Ask PatsyRae and Tips for Alligator Wrestling, tells it like it is and showcases her keen insight.

Living in the real world, she often concludes presentations with her signature piece When the Manure of Life Catches Fire. She begins with a farming accident to motive her audience to use the disappointments of life to transform them.
