I want to add to the glowing reviews of the Iodoral brand iodine supplement. I couldn't be more enthusiastic about the product if I tried. I think everyone should have it and use it.

For many years, I suffered from an on again off again cyclic pain (months at a time) which only seemed to progress. Various diagnosis were given, numerous specialists, all types of pain medications.

By Sept. 2008 (approximately year five), I was used the pain I would wake up with. The headache, the stiff and sore legs, the backache, the extreme fatigue, the difficulty thinking...

And I'm only 34, a vegetarian, non-smoker, non-drinker who is not overweight!

I'd tried all types of supplements for my energy levels, pain and my daughter's ADHD. I'd even tried this before back in March, but I made the mistake of allowing it to be one of many things and wasn't very consistent.

After reading a study and then Brownstein's book, I tried again. I took it religiously for two weeks and the difference was amazing. I've given it to my daughter and within a month, I was able to stop her Adderal.

Not only was the pain gone, I could go back to drinking coffee (I found caffeine made the pain much worse and it was difficult to even lift a drink plate if I were to have two cups of coffee in a week). Not only could I once again have coffee if I wanted... I no longer desperately needed something to stay awake and get moving!

I'm an engineering major with a demanding schedule and course load. Before Iodoral, finding the effort to tackle and understand my work was an uphill battle. My energy levels and memory were so shot, I began to worry I wouldn't graduate (after making it to year four of five!), doctors were trying to tell me I was depressed and my child was bouncing of the walls, driving everyone crazy.

Two months later, I completed the term (Economics, Experimental Engineering, Synthetic Polymer Chemistry, Mechanical Behavior of Solids, and Electric Circuits, A, A, B+, C+ and C respectively) when I thought I'd need a medical withdrawal/was barely functioning the first four or five weeks of it (11 week quarters) and my child is actually, relatively... CALM!

Yes, it's really THAT good.

I have spent thousands in doctors bills and hundreds on natural supplement, to no avail. That is until Iodoral. I had changed my diet which helped some and some of the supplements even helped some. I was taking depression & anxiety medication. I was exhausted most of the time. Good sound sleep did not exist. My libido was totally gone. I was losing it and I knew I was losing it. My health problems were a page long. My doctor kept insisting along with other doctors of my past that I was an awesome specimen of great health! In other words, they could not find any big problem thus it did not exist.
Along with many supplement I had tried lugols, it did not work for me.
How I came upon Iodoral was quite by accident. I went to dinner with family and noticed my sister-in law order the Wakami salad, I winced since I did not like seaweed. She kindly offered me some and being the adventurous type when it comes to food I tried it. I really liked it! I went back and ordered more. At the end of the week I realized I had been feeling better than I had in a loong time. I thought wow, I should buy this in bulk. So I did from a farmers market. My pocketbook was taking a hit and I was getting a little tired of eating so much seaweed. I did a little research on Wakami. I came to the conclusion that it had to be the Iodine. I also came to understand why I was wanting to eat so many eggs and other foods like cottage cheese. My body was desperately trying to obtain the iodine it needed!
I then used the reviews on Amazon to determine which and how much I should take.
I am now more energetic, my skin is softer, my hair is not as dry. I am now calm and controlled. I am no longer feeling like I am going insane. I sleep fewer hours but I sleep better. My cravings for eggs are gone ;). My periods are on time. My libido is alive. I AINT SO DANG COLD ANYMORE! I could go on but will stop.
I started out at 1/2 tablet, then after a few day 1 whole tablet, until I came to 2 in the am and two in the pm. I did experience slight headaches, and a few small rashes in the first couple of weeks, because of this I would suggest doctor monitoring is important.

My doctor recommended I take this to see if I could get rid of some fibroadenomas I have. This did not get rid of my fibroadenomas, but it did clear up my skin some, relieve muscle twitching, and made me more regular (no more diarrhea). I have heard that it is effective in treating fibrocystic disease--so maybe my doc got confused. Whatever the case, I am glad I started taking it because it relieved some other chronic symptoms I have had.

I started taking Iodoral 6 months ago to help my thyroid but I got a lot more than I expected. My skin has always been dry and itchy and I had little bumps all over my upper arms and on my body. Docs have never been able to tell me what the bumps were - I tried prescription creams and lotions... but now they are gone along with my itchy dry skin! My energy is boosted and I have lost 40 lbs just since March - I feel like a new woman! Great price - great product!

My nutritionist recommended this product for my thyroid condition. So far so good! I do not feel balanced when I skip a dose. So this product has certainly helped me.

This product was recommended to me by my Naturopathic Physician for preventing cysts in my eyes due to a lack of iodine. I have used it for a year now without recurrence of the cysts. I highly recommend this product. The price here can't be beat. Believe me I shopped around.

I've been taking this product for a few years as well as my husband. The dr. recommended two a day. My husband had no problem with this dosage. I, on the other hand did. But, the dr. told me to cut them in half and take 1/2 a day and then each week work up until I got to 2 per day. That worked great. I am on Armor Thyroid but this has given me a great boost in energy level. Wonderful product.

This order didn't even ship until one week after I ordered it and then, 2-3 days after their own "expected ship date". Unless this product is severely discounted and fresh, this company will not see anymore of my money!! The product itself is what I expect. I have been using Iodoral for some time.

This product does as promised. More people need to learn about the benefits of Iodoral. This company ships promptly, I plan to purchase from them again.

I started taking Iodoral over 2 1/2 years ago. I suffered mild side effects like slight headache and nasal discharge for a couple of weeks, so I assumed it was doing its job. Since I didn't have any severe maladies, there was no immediate great results. I was, and am taking it for preventative measures, and I figured the worst case was that in the case of a nuclear or "dirty bomb" attack, it would help prevent radiation poisoning. :)

However, in reading the other reviews about how it helped others' skin, I suddenly realized I haven't had dry, white elbows in a couple of years! For the 20 years prior to that, I almost always had mild, but visibly noticeable dry spots on my elbows. There is a very good chance this condition was improved by the Iodoral.
