I bought these because I was getting annoyed with normal powder. They made taking my creatine so much easier, but I'm giving a 4 only because of the price. Getting straight powder is nearly half the price for the same amount in grams.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, you need to take 4 pills to get 5g of creatine. The container lists the serving size as 2.5g, and you need 2 pills to get there. Sure, the DV hasn't been established but 5g seems to be the common recommendation. The pills are big, no doubt about it - about as long as the diameter of a quarter. I'll be buying these just to have at work and use the normal powder at home. I personally think it's easier/quicker to take a teaspoon of the powder in a gulp of juice than it is to swallow 4 of these monsters.

-1 star for being expensive
-1 star for needing 4 pills to get 5g

The labeling is very misleading. The bottle says "2500 CAPS" and "2,500 MG" on the front, but if you look closely at the Supplement Facts, you'll see that you're only getting half the creatine the front label implies. (You get 300 capsules * 1.25g, as opposed to 300 capsules * 2.5g.)

I believe this is a deliberate effort by Optimum Nutrition to trick the consumer. Take the "2500 CAPS" label on the front. It doesn't describe the number of capsules (there are 300). It doesn't describe the amount of creatine in each capsule (it's 1250g). What is the purpose of that text other than to deceive?!

Honestly, though, even though it costs about 3 times as much as the powder, it's still worth the convenience. I'll probably keep buying this, but I'm also going to try to get Amazon to fix their product description.

I take 2 in the morning, then 1 at lunch and 1 before bed. Had blood work done 2 months after starting this and this puts me right at the top of the safe range.

Great results!

I have been taking this for a while now, and when I decided to finally write my own review on it I came across a few other stating that the labels were misleading. Under further investigation, I found this to be true. The entire time I was taking these I believed 2 capsules to be the recommended serving size of 5 grams of creatine... False. 2 capsules is only 2.5 grams making each one a whopping 1.25 grams of creatine. Meaning, you would need to take 4 in order to get the recommended serving size.

I am not going to give this product 1 star because it was my own fault for not reading. With that said, I would recommend using another product or even Optimum's non-capsuled creatine because you can get a full 5 grams of creatine. I will warn you though, Optimum Nutrition does NOT provide a scoop with their powdered creatine. You just have to get creative. Still, a better value though, if you choose to go that route.

I got tired of having to mix the powder and would end up not taking it. With these I can just carry around the capsules for when I remember, take with food and I'm done. The only thing is the cost to volume is off. Works for my needs. As far as the creatine, I feel I've gotten stronger and a little leaner over the past two months taking it. Great product

I use these for the loading phase of creatine because the pills are super sized and I only have to take four pills for the 5 gram serving. Four pills 4 times a day for the first week and then 4 pills a day for the next 2-3 months. I then take a month off and start the whole process again. I know there is a big controversy on whether or not to load. Iv'e tried both ways and loading definitely works better for me.
