As soon as plugged in this fan, we knew we had a dud.. The low and medium modes did not work, but when we turned it onto high, then the thing started up.. Lots of air out of this guy, but we knew we had to return because the low and med didnt work.. Ended up just buying one at Home depot to save us from another headache.

This fan is a lower grade Industrial fan. It is on the light side however for the price it is ok

This fan is great for working out in a hot garage; it really gets the air flow going. I like the tilt head so I can get flow exactly where I need it. It is a bit loud, but with headphones it is not so bad. The only downside is the fan is on smooth garage concrete, and with the pressure of the fan it does move. I had to put 2 10-lb weights behind it so it would stay in place. I had no other issues and do recommend this product.

Compared to my 25-year old Patton Fan, which the unit replaces, the Optimus Fan is poorly constructed and very noisy, even on the lowest speed. The photo looks a lot like the Patton. However the Optimus is significantly smaller and lighter in construction. I am not optimistic it will last very long.

I like the three speed unit.It makes it more versatile.Plenty of air for all situations.I'm very happy with my purchase.

Ordered 4 fans. One did not work on the low setting. Tried it 3 times before it finally starting spinning. So far fans are all working properly.
