Our son absolutly LOVES it!!! The back has a tie and little velcro dots, taking it on and off are relatively easy. Our son loves it! He was unhappy that he didnt turn into a truck though. lol

The quality is great compared to the cheap costumes at WalMart & KMart stores. Also is worth spending the extra. Would recomend to everyone.

We bought this as a Halloween costume for my son. When we got it, I loved how it looked and so did my son. The foam chest and arm pads gave it a little something extra that made it a little more unique than some of the other Optimus costumes. It fit him pretty well (maybe just a tad long) and he is fairly tall and slender for his age (age 4). After wearing it for our first Halloween event, the bottoms of the legs of the costumes were starting to tear in places and it looked really worn (from dragging the ground I guess). After trick or treating on Halloween night, it had a hole torn in the knee from where he fell on the concrete (it is just that thin polyester material). I was hoping he might be able to play with it and get some use out of it even after Halloween and I guess he still can, but it's in pretty sad shape. Overall, I was pleased with it. It was great for what we needed it for (Halloween).

My 4 yr old loved it but I was a little disappointed in the "3Dness" of the costume. It isn't as 3D as in the picture. It is a polyester costume so a step up from those plastic ones of the 80's but just a step. After reading all the reviews I thought this costume was going to be a lot better quality...however with that said I am so glad I did not by the 13.99 version because it had several bad reviews.

Overall...the costume is sufficient but leaves a little to be desired.

Great product that arrived on time and in perfect mint condition! Our trick or treater loved it!

I bought this costume for my 4 yr. old grandson for Halloween. And let me tell you I have never seen a more excited child. He actually slept with it for two weeks. The costume is so realistic that he actually thinks there is really Transformers in real life. THANK YOU!!! for the joy that I seen in my grandbaby's eyes. We searched every where trying to find a costume and thanks to Amazon I was able to make his dream come true. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!! And the helmet! It is awesome,it really makes your voice sound robotic. He actually thinks he's the worlds greatest TRANSFORMER!!! And he's out to save the world from all the evil that tries to destroy the earth.

This is a great costume for my 4 year old. He is tall for his age and usually wears size small in the boys dept so I would say it was true to description. It's of good quality for a costume to play around in. It's not going to win any Transformer Convention Contests (that's pretty specific, huh?) but it serves its purpose of Halloween and Dress Up well!
