I recently received my Mivizu case and I'm exceptionally pleased with it. The gently pebbled leather feels wonderful and the cover is sufficiently padded to protect the Kindle from the bumps of everyday life. I ordered the "Green Stone" color and find the image on Amazon to be remarkably accurate to the actual color.

When I ordered, I was initially concerned about the fact that there is nothing really holding the Kindle in place -- there is leather on the bottom of the sleeve, but not the top. However, the cover is a snug fit and refused to budge, even under vigorous shaking. The latch which holds the cover on is quite secure as well, and I feel very safe when putting the case in a purse or bag that it won't accidentally open and put my screen in danger.

The one reservation I have is with accessibility to the keyboard. This is only really a problem with the bottom row of keys, and not enough to keep me from purchasing another of these cases. In my opinion, the security from surrounding the Kindle in leather is more than worth occasionally bumping the leather with your thumbs when reaching for the 'SYM' key.

Overall, I'm very happy with the case and would gladly recommend it to a friend.

The reason I purchased this particular cover is I didn't like the binder look and feel to the other covers I had seen for the kindle. I am a lefty and I didn't like the bulk put on the left side of the reader. This cover folds over easily and doesn't interrupt the reading experience. I also didn't like the covers that held the unit in place by elastic straps that could loose their strength over time or the plastic clips that some reviews had said cracked their K2. This cover holds the unit VERY securely without interrupting button accessability. The K2 sits just inside the sturdy back, to allow for a buffer in case of impact.

There are two reasons that I didn't give this product 5 stars.
1. I felt the shipping was overpriced. The company bases shipping cost on item price. For a very small lightweight item they made out like a bandit on shipping this.

2. When the cover arrived the red croc was brighter red than I expected. There was some residue adhesive around the stitches that had to be removed by me, and some black spots on leather that I had to clean off. There were two very minimal scrapes out of the leather as well.

Overall, the functionality of the product is amazing, and I can't imagine using another cover. Also the leather is soft and has a wonderful cushion that makes for a great feel in your hands. If someone were giving a Kindle as a gift this case comes in a nice box that would make a spectacular gift presentation as well.

I thought that for the cost of this case, I would be getting a slightly less quality item, but I am pleasantly suprised. Not only did it come only 5 days after ordering (that's including a saturday and sunday!), but it also came in an amazingly sleek black box.

I purchased the white variety, which is a very bright white that blends well with the Kindle. The "stone" design looks great and gives the leather a nice grip. The front and back covers are very sturdy and also have a good deal of stiff padding for extra protection. I'm very glad that I can pick this up without worrying that I'm squeezing too hard and pushing against the screen.

I'm not sure that the pocket on the inside front cover is really useful, but I suppose if you were reading something for study it might prove handy.

I recently bought this cover for my Kindle 2 to replace my smooth leather Cole Haan hinged cover (it was all scratched up). Overall, I like it. The leather seems durable and scratch-resistant, and I always love crocodile patterned accessories. The fit is only decent, but it holds the device very securely and I don't ever fear that the Kindle might fall out of it.

There are a few things I dislike about this cover, though, hence the three stars. The appearance of the leather is very dull, I would find it much more attractive if it had been treated with a shinier finish. Also, while all the buttons are accessible, the leather warps away from the body of the Kindle in some places, which is a bit annoying, but might resolve itself with time, as the case loosens up a little. Also, I'm not sure why they put the snap on the back of the case...it seems backwards, and it annoys me, but I guess they were thinking that the strap would be less likely to interfere with the buttons on the right-hand side if they did it this way. I still don't like it.

I would recommend this case to anyone who wants an interesting-looking, sturdy, and secure case for their Kindle 2. As long as little nitpicky things like those posted above don't bother you. :)

After trying another "popular" rated case for K2 and promptly returning it, I bought this one to try. This case is just what I was looking for. As another reviewer pointed out, the shipping price is outrageous, these are not heavy items. The case is a nice soft leather as described, fits snugly, but K2 can be removed fairly easily if necessary. I bought the black stone and the red stone, as we have 2 kindles in my family. The red is a beautiful color. The black is nice and rich. Both frame the kindles viewing screen nicely, which I find helps while reading. Darker colors give the illusion that the screen is easier to read, at least that's my feelings. (the white kindle does nothing to enhance the reading experience) The case does fold back easily to hold open while reading, and closes securely. It does seem to add a little weight to the K2, but the security for kindle is worth that to me. I can still put it in my bag easily and take it with me, it feels well padded, kindle is not going to fall out, or get scratched. I do not have any issues with this case covering buttons or ports at all. Fits like a glove. I have a skin on one Kindle and it still fits nice and snug in this cover. The light that ships with it is ok, its lightweight, a little flimsy, and just an added bonus. It does clip onto the top of K2 not on the spine of the case. In closing, I am happy with this case, looks, feel, security, has it all.

I ordered the black stone case, it looks very professional and the stone texture helps for a comfortable grip when reading. The quality is A+, each time I open my case I get a nice wiff of genuine leather. I tested the opened top of the case to see if the kindle would fall out (do not do this without another [trusty] person to spot the kindle) and it did not so much as move, which was my main concern. Also, I was worried about the black color from the case rubbing off onto my white kindle, but it doesn't seem like that would happen. If you look closely (must have the case in hand of course)behind the leather where the kindle is placed, there is a fabric lining the inside. That is why the borders of the screen area have stitching. The flap to close the case was a great idea, I can put it in my purse without worrying about the kindle.

The light that comes with the case is a great bonus. I use it in the dark and it perfectly lights up my reading area of the kindle and doesn't strain my eyes. It takes 3 AAA batteries which are not included so when you order your case, make sure to have some batteries available for the nifty lil light when it arrives.

I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I ordered the white leather cover and it matches the kindle beautifully. I have easy access to all keys and top and bottom buttons and adapter slots. I especially like being able to easily fold the cover back, since I am left handed. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality provided. I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this case.

The Kindle 2 is firmly secured in the cover without need for clips or straps. The leather cover is padded beautifully and provides a very satisfying tactile feel. The reading light is an extra bonus.

I am not as enthusiastic about this cover as most. Perhaps it's because I don't have bad covers to compare it with -- it's my first one.

When I ordered it, I seemed to have only three colors to choose from, and I chose black. Now that I have it, I think white or red might have been better, but I don't think I had those colors to choose from. My idea is that the color should be similar to the color of the Kindle, or dramatically different.

On the positive side, the black doesn't stand out so much. I am concerned about traveling overseas with things that look too desirable and steal-able, going by experiences I had in Barcelona and Russia. The black color has a drab look that is desirable from that point of view.

It doesn't seem to me to "fit like a glove." In particular, the "menu / back" area doesn't fit the way the cover is cut particularly well. It couldn't, and retain its symmetry, but it disappoints me all the same.

The light doesn't impress me very much. It is just another thing I will have to try not to forget. I hoped for something that would attach permanently to the cover, that I wouldn't even worry about till I wanted to use it. This is not like that. It obviously was not made for the cover.

It seemed awfully expensive to me. I'd say it's worth about $20, plus shipping.

I like the side-pocket. I will put my train ticket there, so I can just flip it open and hand the ticket to the conductor.

I feel it is at best a 4-. I will round up to 4 stars.

The case I ordered came very quickly and was packaged very nicely. The leater case itself is very high quality and a is perfect fit for my Kindle. The book light is extremely lightweight and a very useful accessory. I am very pleased with my purchase and will return to MiniSuit for future accessory purchases. Thank you!!
