A very practical hands-on self-teaching guide. I bought it used -- I don't think I'd pay full price. Lots of pratical project information for UV, IR, opto-isolators, etc. Also, it was published > 10 years ago -- haven't checked but there might be availability issues for some of the devices used in the projects.
