Picture is great in dark and light. Couldn't be happier with picture. Only downside is the fan noise. Not as quiet as I thought it would be. I don't have a db meter but I can't imagine the specifications are correct.

I would not purchase again because of the fan noise.

The first one of these I bought had a problem with the picture flickering. Every few minutes the picture would flare brighter for just an instant. The picture also rippled in some of the white areas. I was trying to use it to do presentations and it became so irritating I sent it back for replacement.
The second one did the same thing so I tried a different VGA cable and finally an HDMI cable with no joy. Everything I tried ended with the same picture flare every few minutes even after using the projector for several days.
So I bought an Epson EX7200 for less money and so far it is doing well.

great size, nice picture quality. it's a little loud and it does heat up over an 8 hour day. very practical for travel.

The projector is small and powerful - do not look into it or you will be seeing stars for the rest of the day. The company I bought it from did not ship it (even though I received email notification that it had shipped - the shipping company never received the product). When I emailed them to ask about it, they found the problem and corrected it - shipping was expedited and it arrived the next day (Saturday) with no extra shipping charge. Their quick response to my email eliminated my worry that I had made a mistake in buying from them.
