Editorial Reviews

In the short time since their U.S. debut back in January 2011, Sweden's Ghost have become the hottest underground commodity the metal community has seen in many years. Gracing the cover of Decibel magazine, a rare live appearance at the Maryland Deathfest and a one off live show in NYC, further established Ghost as the clear top metal contender for 2011 and into 2012.

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible packaging! December 31, 2013
Amazon Verified Purchase
Could not agree more with the last review. Fantastic album, great-sounding vinyl, and a cool-looking picture disc. However, the packaging is just cheap plastic cardboard with a hole in it. Good luck keeping that thing clean and scratch-free. I hate buying things more than once, but I found a good deal on E-Bay for the colored Record Store Day re-issue, and that one is in a good gatefold.

2.0 out of 5 stars Save your money, buy the imported LP. December 20, 2013

First of all, I am not giving the album a low rating. I'm giving a low rating to the vinyl itself. You'd think that an album this popular would get a decent re-press. It's not a gatefold but a picture disc and of course, you get a cheap cover with a big hole cut out so you can see the disc. Amazon should have at least specified this. This is definitely not worth the money and you are better off buying the imported vinyl. What a terrible waste. Ghost deserves better than this.
