This is not so much a book as it is a divination tool. In fact, it is probably one of the easiest systems of divination to use- you simply concentrate on a "yes or no" question and thumb the pages until your intuition tells you to open it. There you will find your answer- and a little bit more.

Over the years I have used several divination systems (Tarot, I Ching, the Runes, and a couple more) but I was always curious about bibliomancy. It appears to be a form of "controlled synchronicity" as valid as any of the others- though limited to the degree of information that it can impart.

The book itself is a high quality artifact. You would swear that it is antique leather bound volume at first examination. It is a thick volume, but since it lacks page numbers, I cannot say exactly how thick. I know that people can't seem to keep their hands off of it, so it would probably make a great gift. An entertaining gesture might be to send it to a friend anonymously, to add a little mystery to their lives.

All you have to do is ask a question, and randomly flip it open!

I have given this book to friends, and every single one of them loves it. The thing is, it's not just fun and insightful, AND like having your own fortune teller in the palm of your hand...but it's also very nicely made, with a beautiful, thick hardcover, with sensitively written words on aged-looking pages. The first time I picked the book up, I thought, "This is so nice!" It is not often you say that about just the book itself. It's a definite luxury item for your bookshelf, and your psyche. The author obviously put much care and thought into the words, the research, and the total look of this book, and that's very refreshing.

I highly recommend this book for anyone - whether one believes in divination or even if one just wants to have fun reading the answers to their life questions. Ms. Routis Savas is definitely a talented writer and is knowledgeable about both Bibliomancy and human nature overall. She perfected how to magically hook the reader into wanting to continue over and over asking life's questions (whether it's regarding this life or one's next life). She also is a very creative / imaginative writer with intuition into the inner self. Once the reader starts, he/she can't put the book down. I wish my friends and I had this in high school. We would have spent many evenings asking "The Oracle Book" question after question. It's lots of fun and informative. Enjoy!

A must have for anyone seeking answers for life's many questions. This book is beautiful in it's writing and craftsmanship. Captivating and magical in it's responses, you will find yourself unable to put in down. As your relationship develops with this most fascinating book it will develop a personality of it's own.

The Oracle Book was my first "Bibliomancy"(divinatory)tool book, and afterwards I also (by accident) happened across Carol Bolt's exellent "Book Of Answers"(specificly her "Movie Book Of Answers" release). Both volumes are really great choices for obtaining helpful insight we need from time to time if used correctly- without asking stupid or half-hearted questions & allowing one or two "quality-time" minuets to focus before asking. The Oracle Book has it's own special charm with it's antique-looking binding and answer pages inspired by all the major forms of divination in use(Tarot, Crystal Ball, I-Ching, Astrology)- you sort of feel like a wise old wizard when using it. If you use it sincerly it will reflect the answer already deep inside you. Try it & see!

If you've ever indulged in stichomancy -- the art of divination by randomly opening a book -- you'll get a big kick out of this one. Specifically designed for that purpose, The Oracle Book consists of almost five hundred pages of brief oracular messages accompanied by charming illustrations. The physical book itself is stylishly made to resemble an ancient tome, and the whole effect is, well, cute. This would make a great gift item.

What an beautiful book this is! Though the premise is similar to the black plastic Magic 8 Ball that you shake to find an answer, The Oracle Book takes decision-making to a much more stylish and elegant level. I like that the answers are based in Tarot, Astrology, Crystal Ball and other esoteric studies. This is the prettiest package I've seen in a long time.

Ms. Routsis Savas truly has the GIFT! I have been a devoted fan for years, and this book only deepens my devotion. Buy it. You'll LOVE it!

what a great way to have some fun. I find ms. savas way of presenting the future quite interesting and have had fun with this book. In fact our whole family has enjoyed looking into the future...enjoying our time together and really learning about each others desires...Way to go Ms. Savas...we are looking forward to your next endeavor....
