The search for generic Oracle PL/SQL code starts here,

This review is from: Oracle PL/SQL: Expert Techniques For Developers and Database Administrators (Charles River Media Programming) (Paperback)
I'm surprised no one has reviewed this book on Amazon so far. I did purchase Bulusu's recently and I have found that the "expert" programs are interesting from the point of view of possibly run Oracle 11g PL/SQL code in a generic compute sever mode. I did find the explanations of PL/SQL scripts to be very brief and I would said, "outlines" only. I found bugs in the PL/SQL scripts, for example "Listing 4.4 Performing Data I/O Using an Associative Array" does not compile without errors as published in the book. I also went to the www.courseptr.com website looking for errata and found nothing. Obviously, I will have to analysis and debug the PL/SQL scripts myself and add additional documentation. All that said, the idea of developing generic PL/SQL code for scientific computation and record I/O processing is a good one. I would hope an future edition with present the material in a more comprehensive format.
