Since I was in 4th grade, I suffered from canker sores once every few weeks during Spring months. These sores were extremely painful, and often made it difficult for me to talk or eat.

For years I tried everything from different toothpastes to medicated mouth washes, but the sores would not go away.

I bought these Avamin Melts about 2 months ago because I started getting canker sores as I always do at this time of year. After putting one melt on the inside of my lip each morning, I noticed that the sore on the inside of my lip was healing much faster than normal. It was gone within 3-4 days, instead of the 7-10 days they typically take to disappear. Since then, I have not had a single canker sore.

This product works very well for me. I highly recommend giving this product a try for those people whose quality of life is seriously affected by awful canker sores.

This product really works! Before using Avamin Melts I got canker sores about once a month and the nasty things lasted up to two weeks, making it painful to eat, speak, and smile. It was miserable. I tried many products for treating cankers but nothing worked until now. Some other products just sting or peel off and cause more pain. I started using Avamin Melts when I had a few sores crop up. They stayed small, were not very painful, and healed within a few days. It was amazing! Now I use one melt every day to prevent new sores, and I haven't had one since. You just stick the small red disk to your tooth and let it dissolve - no pain, no taste, and no cankers! I love this product, I'm stocking up so I won't run out. If you suffer from canker sores you have to try these, they really work and you will be happy you did.

Before using Avamin I used to get 1 to 2 sores a month. Since I started using these daily in July (nearly 6 months now) I have only had one canker sore episode. I have tried various diet changes and tried several different products to improve my canker sore situation over the past several years and this product has by far worked the best!

I was given a box of the Avamin Melts after I participated in a test of the product and was given a placebo in the test. I tried the Avamin Melts and they REALLY DO WORK. Use daily or just use when you feel and episode coming on. I use a strong mouth wash several times daily. Use one that really burns and you know it's really working. Each morning put a Avamin Melt on the spot where the canker sore is forming and you will be amazed at the result. It will keep the canker sore from being so painful and completely forming or, if used daily should keep you from having canker sores at all. IT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!

If you get caker sores you will love Avamin. It is a miracle. I sometimes have eight sores at a time. I have found if I use this when I feel one starting it will keep it from actually forming. If I don't get the Avamin soon enough and the canker sore actually forms I can usually have it gone within a couple of days instead of two weeks. It also turns out to be a very minor sore. I highly recommend this product to anyone who gets minor or major canker sores. Since I have been using it my outbreaks have actually lessened. Just try them - you won't ever want to be without them again.

I have been using Avamin Melts for my mouth sores for the past few months and I have experienced fewer, less painful sores as a result. As soon as I feel that "tingle," I apply the Avamin Melt and the sore is nipped in the bud. I recommend Avamin Melt to anyone who suffers from frequent mouth sores.

Yea! Finally something that works! Like many reviewers, I have suffered from canker sores since childhood. However, I recently started using Rembrandt Canker Sore toothpaste in combination with these Avamin Melts. My sores are almost completely gone! The ones I do get are mild. It is wonderful! These melts are easy to use unlike the company's other product Cankermelts. Get the Avamin Melts and some Rembrandt Canker Sore toothpaste.

I found this product when it was being tested, looking for volunteers, by searching web for canker sore relief. I can't recall how many doses I took - probably several tubes worth total, over 7-10 months or so. Result was fewer canker sores that healed much more quickly. It might have eliminated them entirely (can't recall - it was several years ago). BUT, I haven't taken them for at least 18 mos. (maybe it has been a couple years already), and I RARELY get ANY canker sores, and when I do, they seem to disappear in a couple days, before getting huge (vs. past years when they lasted 7-10 days & grew to 1/8" lesions).

Just adding my thumbs up on this product. I didn't manage to brush my teeth much for six months because of brushing triggering tooth sensitivity or mouth sores. I'm doing much better again with brushing after some Amazon shopping for this and other products such as the Rembrandt canker sore toothpaste, xylitol candies and tooth wipes for babies and toddlers, and child's extra soft toothbrush.

I've used this for something more than a month so far, and my best use for this is to, each day, place it where there's any sensitivity forming after brushing, and I've had good luck with the sensitive area behaving the rest of the day after that. If I just use one a day anywhere, some sensitive areas still crop up sometimes, so sometimes I hold off on using it awhile till I can tell where best to put it.

Purchased product in February 2011. Noticed a black line created by a Sharpie Marker. I wiped off with a damp cloth and it revealed a Best if used by date of October 2009. This product had expired almost 18 months ago. Very disappointed that they knowingly sold an expired product and tried to conceal it! I would never purchase from this company because of a lack of trust that their product will be safe. Amazon has issued a credit to my credit card.
