I have not read this book, but I'll say this: If you want a chance to "try before you buy," check out the transcript of the author's oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court in South Carolina v. North Carolina.You can find the transcript at Oyez.org. It is astounding and worth a read.

I am not in law school yet, but by reading this book I feel that I have gained important knowledge of the way lawyers should argue their cases. It is easy to read and I am looking forward to employing the skills mentioned once I get to law school.
