Oral-B Ultra Floss is a bird of a different feather. Rather than being strands of floss, like all the others, it is a woven product that actually scrubs gently at food, plaque and residue on the teeth and under the gums. My dentist actually coos, when he cleans my teeth, that I have the healthiest gums of any of his patients (OK, I eat extremely well, but I swear by this floss as well--I give it as a stocking stuffer over the holidays and people first laugh then thank me after trying it). The floss is measured in just the right amount (17") with the cut-off marker being plain blue strands of floss between lengths of fiber. Used daily or just a few times a week, this floss always makes your mouth feel dentist-chair clean, improving the look of your teeth and your breath. I've been a glide user for years, and I could never use waxed dental floss or it'd wind up looking like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre in my mouth. This stuff does the best job of any dental floss I've ever used, it's the most comfortable dental floss I've ever used, and I wish I had found it years ago and not suffered through using the Glide ribbon style floss.
