Dentists all over the country are recommending the Oral-B electric toothbrush. There are several reasons. It does the work for you, vibrating thousands of times a second, massaging your gums, it lets you clean your teeth without scraping your gums with a toothbrush, which can cause them to recede and bleed, and it reaches between your teeth to catch plaque and germs. This is a wonderful toothbrush, and I recommend it. However, if you want a review of a toothbrush, you'll read the toothbrush page. This is a page for replacement heads.

There's a lot of confusion about replacement heads for Oral B electric toothbrushes on Amazon, and I just want to give you all some facts. There are only three kinds of heads for ALL Oral-B electric toothbrushes. Flexisoft EB17, Extrasoft EB17, and Ortho OD17. I prefer Flexisoft EB17. (The Extrasoft is a little too soft, and the Ortho is overpriced for very little extra benefit.) I'd recommend the Flexisoft heads over this one, and they're less than half the price.

This product is what my son's orthodontist recommended for him to use for his braces. So far he likes it and has no complaints on it. I had a difficult time finding this item in the stores, so we had to order online; find out it was cheaper and less time consuming just to buy it online.

Our son has braces and needs a special brush head. These are very expensive in the stores, however, we were able to find the exact item on Amazon, at a much cheaper price! It arrived on-time and the product is exactly as pictured and expected.

I use this Ortho Brush Head with an Oral-B Triumph 9900 Toothbrush with Smart Guide as per my dentist's recommendation. I'm 40 and started using braces last week, and at this point I'm very concerned with my oral health, want to follow all guidelines for a perfect hygiene of the gums, teeth and braces, which can also help speeding up the overall treatment.

On Friday I've ordered this brush via Amazon Subscription (2 units every 6 months) and I do think it is a great deal. Free delivery included on subscription and it was super speedy, arrived on Monday morning. All of those replacement brush heads are on the more expensive side anyway, but the Ortho is not sold in stores - or so my dentist told me-, only at dentist's office, but I also found it on Amazon. So, Amazon it is.

It's been 4 days of use, so far so good. I will return in a few months with an update on this product. I don't know if that happened to someone else but, my first brushing, after the braces were on, was with a manual toothbrush. It got stucked in my mouth, entangled on those metal parts and I did panic for a minute. The second time I tried using my electric one and it was a breeze to brush with. Now I need to wait and see if this Ortho head is indeed more efficient than others - up to now my favourite being the Floss Action one.

I purchased the Oral-B Professional Care 7800 DLX cleaning system. It is great, but the recommended 'Power Tip Brushhead' that my dentist wanted me to get is only in THIS package and not available except online. That is very unfair. This package was pricey enough, although a good product. Now I will have to pay extra to purchase a power tip brushhead for my husband to use since the package only had one in it. And no stores have it stock anywhere.

Been using this type brush for a number of years now with my Oral-B electric tooth brush.
