Cheap imitation. Cheap plastic case, no Nintendo logos, stiff buttons/sticks. The one I received has a broken Y button. Avoid this at all costs and buy an Official Nintendo controller. Worst Gamecube controller ever.

I've had the pleasure of owning one of these controllers in the past. It's a fake, it does a real good job at looking like the real thing. The controller does hold up for light games but breaks down in games that require some pin point stress. Y button broke down fast, A button got stuck, R button became unresponsive. I got it for 10 dollars and it wasn't even worth that, it lasted less than a week. As other reviewers said, it's cheap plastic. As for even opening the product, I didn't bother, but the original gamecube remotes require a tri-head screwdriver, same one that is needed to open a DS. It's something that has to be specially ordered to fix or modify their products.

It won't last, spend the extra bucks and get a nintendo branded remote, it will prove the test of time.

First off the controller is not even a real Nintendo product, there is no Nintendo logo or seal of approval on it. The cord for the controller is thin and incredibly short. The plastic is also cheap and I'm pretty sure most of the buttons aren't properly placed in the controllers frame. The packaging was also something to be improved upon. i really hate to see things like this (even if it's fake)be put into a regular envelope. All in all, i rate this product poor and all those who look at this know that it is not a real Nintendo product and view it as such.

We have had two of these. One broke within two days of play. Replaced it, the second one lasted less than one week. Control stick collapsed inward on the thing, buttons fell off. Pay the extra $10 and get the official Nintendo one Amazon also sells. I gave it 1 star because they won't let you do zero or less. The colors on this one are pretty, buy the thing is a cheap, plastic piece of junk. We have bought the official Nintendo one (White with a 10 foot cord to match the Wii) and it is durable and works great. I am now ordering a second one of the official Nintendo controller.

Not sure if it was the product itself or that it was damaged in transit but this controller did not work. I bought this to play gamecube games on my Wii. I had used "original" nintendo controllers before with Gamecube games on my Wii and they worked fine. In the future I will stick to OEM products and will never again buy generic.

A few friends and I decided to get a vintage gameing tourment going on playing both the original smash bros. and smash bros. melee. I bought this since no one else could find any in their houses. It is your standard controller and works just fine.

This controller seemed good initially but after about a week of use the left analog stick wore out and no longer works. This controller is very cheap and I would recommend trying to find a used Nintendo brand controller on ebay. They tend to be much more reliable and much higher quality.

I only purchased this controller to hook up to my wii to navigate menus on homebrew. The controller came undamaged and well packaged and all the buttons worked just fine.

Works great! The kids are excited to play some games we downloaded but couldn't play due to the controller that we didn't have.

I bought this for my Nintendo Wii for playing Super Smash Bros with my friends. seems to be working fine. I dont use it a lot so it isnt seeing a lot of wear and tear though.
