Product Description

This is one little BEAST... errr... Tiny Terror! Seriously, the second you plug into the Orange Tiny Terror, you're going to be confronted with major tone. (Well, you have to plug it into a speaker cabinet first, but after that... woah). The tonemeisters over at Orange went ahead and decided to put high-priced, boutique-amps to SHAME with its performance. Really, Orange just decided to make it sound just as good as their bigger amps... only with the portability us locally gigging and rehearsing/jamming musicians need. Thanks!

This amp got great reviews from all the pros claiming a boutique sound and in a compact size. It was my first tube amp and I'm impressed. It is versatile and I play all types of guitar music but it does tend to sway a little more towards the vintage sound than modern heavy metal. Still even with effects such as the metal core it does quite well. Compared to solid state peavey's it is much much more broken up and dirty especially on the low end which is almost abesnt in solid state. It's perfect for MUSE if you have a fuzz factory you can match that tone almost exact. Also if you have a vintage proco Rat and you're wondering what all the hype is about ... bring it over to the Orange side and you'll soon see that thing is meant for tube amps. I have nothing but good things to say about this unless you are a relentless heavy metal shredder. You're not going to get that great marshall tone and buzz out of this amp but it's a compromise for versatility and price. Everything but metal will sound awesome out of the box and you can tweek it so that metal will sound great too. It just won't be innate and you'll need to rely on some effects. But still I use it every day over my peavey bandit with the Orange plugged into and Avatar 2x12 8 ohm.

This little amp has a lot of butt-kickin' goodness. Extremely versatile and fun to play. When mine arrived I immediately opened the box, set it up, and plugged in my Strat. Two hours later I realized I'd forgotten I had to be somewhere, but didn't want to stop playing. Needless to say I ended up late to my appointment.

The only drawback on this amp is that it doesn't have a headphone jack. I'd take off half a star for that if I could. But seeing as I can only do whole stars I'll leave it at five. It isn't that much of a problem. This is a fun little amp with a big sound and is a pure joy to play.

This is such a great amp! I have been playing guitar for around 12 years and have used several amps over that time. Most recently I used a Fender Deluxe Reverb 50watt. I loved the thing but I wanted something with less wattage and more control, the tiny terror is exactly that! The ability to switch between 7 and 15 watts is perfect. I live in an apartment complex that has some strict rules on noise levels, but with the tiny terror I can still push my amp and get good tube sound at lower volumes because of the 7 watt option. It also sounds like a dream, best lunch box amp you can get!

Great amp. Plenty loud for practice and small gigs. I wish the distortion was more aggressive but it is a 15w British amp after all. Nothing a good OD pedal won't fix.

I Bought the orange tiny terror and think that it is a good amp for clean and dirty sounds, it is perfect for a smaller tube amp. There is not too much to it, but that isn't the point, it sounds great. With effects pedals you can get whatever add-on to the the amps tone.
