Non-stressful intriguing movie, June 7, 2009
This review is from: Bang Bang Orangutang (DVD)
This was one of those movies where you can safely detach yourself either from the movie or from your life - whichever you prefer! and still not miss out on a very interesting story. The movie portrays the type of pain that many people live in by uniquely showcasting the inner psychological skin of the main character. The way in which this is done may be interpeted as a brutal form of sarcasm . . the movie contains some very intense surreal dialogue scenes, and many scenes are left open for the viewers own interpretation. This movie is an excellent blend of the superficial (through the play of color, settings, etc.) and also the real severity of life after tragedy. Personally I loved this movie, as it allowed me as the viewer to access an inner type of depth in myself. In that sense it was very stimulating for me. But likewise I must warn that this movie is definately not a feel-good movie, and its intrigue may not appeal to everyone's tastes.
