Hi, this item seems to work as designed. It is easy to program and has many flexible programming methods. Over-all I think it is a good product. It has a solenoid to open and close the water valve. This seems to be better than the geared type which I replaced with this unit. I will update if there is any change. I have been using the unit for 4 months. Works good.

Very easy to program. Just need to wait and see how long it lasts. My last two water timers made from a different company did not even last one season. Hope this one does.

I have used the Orbit 62061N water timer for one vegetable growing season and it works as advertised and is very easy to program. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it shuts off so fast that it causes water hammer in the pipes.

Programming is very easy on this timer. After two weeks of use and learning its features, am very pleased with its performance. Would definitely recommend.
