Great selection of stories / rather difficult language,
This review is from: Orchard Book of Roman Myths (Paperback)
The selection of stories for this book is great. It touches on myths that are usually not very well known. However, the language is a little too abstract for the intended audience. The Greek myths book of this same publisher is much better written.

Interim judgement...,

This review is from: Orchard Book of Roman Myths (Paperback)
This is an interim review because the book is a birthday present for my grandson who will be 9 shortly and has just become interested in Greek and Roman myths. The publishers say that it is for the reading bracket 9-12 years. I hope so because my grandson is rather ahead of his age group. We'll see how he gets on with it after his birthday.
