Back in April of 2003 I went to see Finch play in Nashville. I had never heard of Embraced at that time but they opened the show and it was amazing. Their live performance was stellar and full of energy. A local band from my town Love is Red also played that show. Sadly neither band is together anymore. Check out Love is Reds myspace, i think u can download their original cd, which was put out locally. Their full length is pretty awesome as well. One thing to note is that the screamer of Embraced is now the vocalist for Across Five Aprils since 2006 I think. Wish I could go back in time and see that show again. But the cd fills the gap nicely. Do yourself a favor and buy it right away and be blown away. One of my all time fav tracks is Saratoga :-)

This album is indeed a great album, especially for fans of early Hopesfall. The members have moved on to newer and better things now, Brandon now does vocals for victory records band Across Five Aprils, Jonathon plays Guitar in Cake Records Dont Die Cindy, who won Warpedtour battle of the bands last year, and Steven is playing drums in Go Radio, be sure to check them all out :)

This album is simply amazing, atmospheric, melodic, and emotional. And the fact that hardly anyone knows about it makes it even better for me.

First off, this is a great cd, one of my favorites. The vocals are great, and the instrumental is good. The instrumentals didn't blow me away, but the are very good. Great cd, I wish more people had heard of it.
