5.0 out of 5 stars Handy, comprehensive, and great photos too! December 6, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
How to Order an Italian Coffee in Italy is a short, handy guide for anyone curious about how to maneuver through one of the most important daily interactions in the Bel Paese -- with the barista at the bar.

Packed full of solid, reliable information (Sara has lived in Italy since 2003), this e-booklet explains all the different types of coffee drinks you'll find in Italy, and, incidentally, what you won't find -- no flavored syrups and creams! Best of all, it is well-illustrated with high-quality photos and the pronunciation guides will ensure you'll know exactly how to order your desired coffee in Italy -- or, at the very least, have the word(s) and possibly a photo to point to!

This booklet would be a fabulous gift for coffee lovers, Italophiles, or anyone headed to Italy -- there's just no better Italian coffee resource out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Coffee Guide for Travelers to Italy January 5, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
If you are considering Italy in your future travels and enjoy coffee, do yourself a favor and download Sara Rosso's guide. I'm a B&B owner in the Italian wine country, and I have answered almost all of these questions in part or in full over the last seven years. But here it all is, in one place: how to act in an Italian coffee bar, how to order, what to order, how to pay, what to eat with your coffee. It's really perfect and I plan on advising my guests, when they reserve, to come and spend the three bucks to understand what the Italian coffee culture is all about! Well done!

The information in this book is useful and from my travels in Italy I would say it is very accurate. However, I think the price is way too high for what you get.

All American baristi need to read this. Starbuck and Panera are biggest offenders of not getting it right. My barista niece got one as a gift from me - she loved it.
