Dr Branko Mitrovic translates to English the most? published architectural treatise in history. There contains within his book, his typical attention to detail thereby decreasing error and misinterpretaion in the translation.Beautifully bound and presented, this easy to read 'reference' is uncluttered but comprehensive. It is a book that for accurate proportioning systems alone is essential on any architects' shelf. There no longer needs to be any guessing where classical geometries are concerned. The illustrations are full page elevational detail....very easy to browse and understand. Like a thesaurus for the poet, this fundamental system of tools is recommended for any architect, whatever their bent. |
