It's kind of hard to keep up with all the new young singers on the scene. Okay, well here is the back story on Jordan Pruitt. She wasn't a part of the recent High School Musical Tour-but she did open on the tour. She is signed to Hollywood Records, a company which releases a lot of Disney related albums. Whereas a lot of the "new school" girls are going for a pop/R&B edge, Jordan seems to walk the line of rock and pop.

No Ordinary Girl is a very tween/teen oriented album. The song themes are perfect for the high school scene. Songs like "Miss Popularity" and "Teenager" are sure to resonate with the teen scene. "Over It" is sure to be a popular break up song.

I don't mind my children listening to this album. It's harmless pop, and Jordan is a talented young lady, I think her voice is special. Of course, I'm going to rank her music on a different standard than more mature artists. I'm comparing her to the likes of Hannah Montana, Ashley Tisdale, and Jesse McCartney.

I really Love this album. All her songs are just amazing, she has an incredible voice and a lot of talent. Jordan is already one of my fav artists. All of her songs are my fav =] I hope she makes more albums like this !

i ordered this cd not knowing what to expect and i am so glad i did! it is a great mix of sounds. there's miss popularity which every teenage girl can relate to because we all know a "miss popularity" and later which is about rich, snobby guys who every one drools over when in reality, they are only intersted on the outside appearences. my reality is all about all the choices a teen faces every day. all the other songs are great too! i would recomend this cd for girls (not so much guys) from 11 and up to probably 20 or so, but some older women might like it, too. anyone under 11 might like it, but it's more focused on the higher age levels.

Jordan Pruitt is a true singer and I place her in a completley other league then singers like miley cyrus and lindsay lohan. Her singing is great and she is a true musical artist unlike her disney label mates. She had so much going for her to be a huge success. But her album was only okay, many of the songs sounding extremley similar. The album did not chart well, and that is partly due to the decisions that she/her label made. Although "Outside Looking In," was a beautiful/power song to release as a first single, it didnot have much commercial appeal. She could have released a song like "Waiting For You," or "Over It," and I think she probably would have been more succesful. I still think this girl has a lot of talent, and although "No Ordinary Gir," is a decent wholesome album, she can do better.

I've been waiting for this cd for quite awhile and she did not disappoint. The songs are fun and catchy. I heard some of them during the High School Musical concert and knew that she'd be good so of course I bought it on its debut weekend. Bravo.

Jordan has an amazing voice!! She is one of the best out there! The album is clean, fun, and has a good message. Buy the album, she is WAY worth it!


1)No Ordinary Girl(8/10)Her voice is amazing on this song! The only reason this song doesn't get 10 stars from me, is because most of the other songs are better.

3)Over It(10/10)I like this song a lot. When I first got the album this was my favorite song. A very very fun song!
4)Teenager(9/10)I can totally relate to this song! I don't think her voice is as good on this song as it is on others.
5)Outside Looking In(100/10)One of my favorite songs of all time! Amazing voice, great messager! A perfect song!
6)We are Family(7/10)I like this song way more then the origanal. I really am just not a big "we are Family" fan. I love her voice, I just don't like the song.
7)Waiting for You(10/10)The sweetest song on the album! Her voice is so pure and warm sounding on this song!
8)Jump to the Rythem(9/10)A fun song! Again her voice is outstanding on this song!!
9)My Reality(10/10)I LOVE the message of this song! A very fun up beat way to deal with real problems. As always her voice is increadible!

When I first saw Jordan Pruitt on the Disney Channel I thought that she was like 17 or 18 when found out she's 15 I said she she doesn't look her age.Even though I don't have her Cd yet that I'm planning on getting I listened to some of her songs on Radio.Blog.Club.com.I liked these songs is Teenager,Over It Miss Popularity & Who Likes Who they have listened to that whole songs.And Jordan is from my Hometown state is Georgia.I'm sure Jordan Pruitt will go far with her Singing Carrer!!!!

Jordan Pruitt did an EXCELLENT job on her debut album, No Ordinary Girl. The songs are great and they can relate to typical high school teenagers. Jordan has an amazing voice and she is definetly someone to watch. Also, if you love the CD, make sure you see her live. I have seen her on tour and she delivers a GREAT performanace!
