3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing too Special...
I got real tired of this song real fast. This song is nothing special both lyric wise and melody wise. I would advise against buying the single. I give the song 2.5 stars-- there are better things to spend your money on.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really Depressing. Virtually Worthless., May 26, 1999

This is the Whiniest song I'v heard in a great while. It sounds awful, and it is so non-uplifting. It also attempts to portray women as purely domestic. my hand can't get to the knob on my radio to change the station fast enough when this song comes on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chad Brock Rocks!, March 17, 1999
This review is from: Ordinary Life / My Memory Ain't What It Used to Be (Audio CD)
This song is truly country at it's best! Chad Brock proves that country songs are "songs about real life" and "songs you can sing along with". I cried when I heard it and now it's like and old favorite even though it's brand new. Kudos to Chad Brock!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I thought the CD was great, the songs really make you think, February 7, 1999

I thought this CD was great. I really enjoyed songs like Ordinary Life, Going the Distance, and Bingo Bull's Eye. I thought the songs on this album were really meaningful. Ordinary Life really makes you look at what you have and you should appreciate it. Also the song Going the Distance was really makes you realize that realtionships aren't easy but if you commit to them you can get through anything. I thought the other songs were great too, but those were my two favorite. I can't wait to hear his next album
