Sometimes I think we all need to stop and ask, how's life? For me, it's been pretty tough lately. I worked for a company for about two years on a large project with the understanding that I would be paid when the project was completed. We completed the project and the company took all the money and ran.

Right after that, another project I had been working on for 6 or 7 years was put out to bid. I worked night and day for about 2 weeks to prepare our bid, trying to make up for the money I lost on the other project. Right before the bid deadline the engineer on the project required us to bid equipment almost twice the size of what our competitor was supplying, and we were priced out of the project.

After losing the bid I was miserable, depressed and doubting whether Jesus really cared about me. I had been going to Mass or Adoration every day and praying that we would get this project. At the height of my despair, I happened to pick up this book which was in my "to read" pile. This book literally picked me up off the floor and recharged my evangelistic batteries. I highly recommend this book and plan to get copies for my wife and kids and pray that the Holy Spirit will entice them to read it, since I rarely have the ability to do so.

Gave to my teenager to read and changed his view on life. After countless hours of me nagging him on what is important in life, I found out that all he needed was to read a book that made sense to him.

This is a book that I read with my Christian brothers as we met on a weekly basis. It was very revealing as it allowed you to contemplate on your life's walk with God.

One of the best Catholic books I read in the last year. Well written and easy to understand on why we are called to be saints and how to strive to be one. If I could give a copy to everyone in the world I would.
