This was the first Christy Moore album I heard, and I love it the best. There are so many good songs, I keep changing my mind as to which is my favorite. Christy's voice just touches your heart when you hear it. I would almost say this was the soundtrack to the semester I spent in Ireland...I couldn't walk down O'Connell Street without hearing Christy's voice!

Everything Christy does is great and this CD continues the trend. Great songs done in Christy's great style. This is one of Christy Moore's best CD performances. He has a way of making you feel that you are hearing him live. This CD is one of his best alltime performances.

Ordinary Man represents a snapshot in time of life in Ireland. Unemployment, Stardust fire, and some great original music. Very nice recording.
