I love this CD. It's melodic, funny, and smooth, and it tugs the heart stings all at the same time. It's real music to heal the spirit and entertain the savage beast in you after a hard day.

John Legend is the complete package. An R&B artist with a dynamite, distinctive voice. He's a phenomenal lyricist, and knows how to make a song tell a story. Throws in a little rap for spice, and knows how to be a touch risque and give a song an edge without turning the air (or parents) blue. Ordinary People is one of the best love ballads ever. It's a very cool video also. If you haven't already discovered him you're in for a treat. If you've already heard his later releases and want to know where it all started, like many artists his debut album is still his best ever.
