5.0 out of 5 stars Ordinary World- no ordinary single!
This is a great remix of Duran Duran's original hit, and unlike many remixes, if anything is even better. It is a really good song and I would recommend it to anyone!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good
After "Hear You Calling" my expectations were up, but this completely shattered any confidence in this group. If I could give it a "0" I would because this abomination is a horrible remake of the Duran Duran classic. Even better than the original! Instrumentals and vocals outperform! Just an example of how one artsist can turn a regular song into one of the best ever created!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!, October 28, 2005

[...] This trance remake was fantastic and a top5 hit in the UK back in 2000. Naimee has a great voice, and overall I feel Aurora have done a far superior version of Duran Duran's original.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Ordinary World (Audio CD)
This piece of work rocks, and Naimee's voice is just fantastic mixed beautifully by Aurora, making this an absolute buy. The radio edit version simply impresses you with a club kind of atmosphere... even Duran Duran would be impressed. Anyone wanting to buy this, there is not a moment to lose. P

5.0 out of 5 stars Above and Beyond Do It Again, July 16, 2005
This review is from: Ordinary World (Audio CD)
Okay, the radio mix = not that spectacular, but Above and Beyond...seriously, is there any track they can't remix? They do such an amazing job with this track that they prove again they are in the same league as Hex Hector and Tiësto when it comes to great remixes of pop music. A must-buy for the second track.

I have just heard Naimee Coleman singing Ordinary World. I have previously heard her on her first Album Silver Wrists and thought then that she had a heavenly voice. My thoughts have not changed, this singer is vastly underated, all my coleagues agree. To the SO CALLED music lover from Canada who said she needed singing lessons,I have to say I believe you need a hearing aid.

4.0 out of 5 stars Who says great Italo girl-twirl disco doesn't still exist?, April 16, 2002

This review is from: Ordinary World (Audio CD)
If you liked Robert Miles's Milan-made "Children" a few years back, or Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone," or Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out of My Head," you'll surely flip for Naimee Coleman's sweetly harmonized romantic dreamland soprano -- or Aurora's synthesized rapid-fire riffs and beats. With all kinds of screamy, girly sound effects...here's what a kiss sounds like when lovers pucker with each other at very high speed..... (also found in DJ Escape's masterful ULTIMATE AFTERHOURS CD on Groovalicious)

4.0 out of 5 stars This Rocks, January 17, 2002
This review is from: Ordinary World (Audio CD)
The person who gave this one star ("Music Fan" from Canada) has absolutely no clue. Naimee Coleman's voice is the perfect compliment to this remarkably rich and layered mix. I remixed it myself adding in my own harmonies (just to experiment), but it would up doing more harm than good. I must admit I missed the third verse, so I must give kudos to the reviewer who gave it three stars, but I still love it so I'm giving it 4.

After "Hear You Calling" my expectations were up, but this completely shattered any confidence in this group. If I could give it a "0" I would because this abomination is a horrible remake of the Duran Duran classic. The concept was bad enough, but to have Naimee Coleman provide the vocals was the biggest mistake. Her vocals are flat and weak - I've never heard a worse vocal dance tune. I hope she has a day job because I'll never support anything she does. The only two mixes included were the radio edit and the Above & Beyond Mix, and even this talented duo could not save "Ordinary World" from disaster.

This easily walks away with my vote for worst tune of 2000. Hopefully for future releases Aurora decides to release original material (without the vocals of Ms. Coleman) for the sakes of people who will still listen to them (I won't, they've totally lost my respect). And as for Ms. Coleman, vocal lessons are definitely needed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why?, March 16, 2005
This review is from: Ordinary World (Audio CD)
Why in god's name would anyone remake Ordinary World??? The original was (scratch that, IS) beautiful, thus it should have been left alone. Please DJs/Remix artists of the world, turn your attention to lesser music, not classics like this.
