Interesting upcoming Ska-Rock from the Far East, May 13, 2007

A little complicated to get into given the language but this band of Japanese School Girls is really something very special.
They are playing rock music, quite well but doing it with a horn section. They play quite agressively in spots, they do some stuff in English and they are definitely not a spice-girl type fashion band - they appear to be focused on making great music.
For me a bit like MM bosstones although I see a bit of the harder fishbone stuff in there: it's really cleverly done with lots of changes but a really nice agressive feel to it. But they are young and this is just a glimpse of them - and perhaps not their best - their other Singles Wasuremono and 20 nails are better.
Hopefully their first album and onwards keeps up the great new sound.
