Easy to hold. Brushes well.

The instructions say to "Wash before initial use. Wash in warm water using mild liquid soap." When I did that, the brush absorbed water through the bristle holes, became waterstained, and cracked.

The bristle holes are evidently not sealed during manufacture (should be done before or while the bristles are being glued in).

Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement had the same problem.

My wife and I chose this brush for our newborn since the ones in Target, Wal-Mart and Babie-R-Us all looked cheap and rough. Most of the other child's brushes that we saw had plastic handles and nylon bristles.

This set is far superior to any other child brush and comb set on the market. The handles are all wood and the bristles are firm but still soft to the touch. The included storage bag keeps the brushes clean and dust free and makes the set complete. Our baby doesn't mind having his hair brushed with this (we're lucky-- considering he was born with a full head of baby hair). We're planning on using it as a keepsake for our child to give to him when he's older. I would highly recommend this set to anyone.

This is a wonderful wooden brush/comb set. Besides being an attactive set, it also works very well. The bristles are soft. Our munchkin was born with ALOT of hair and has enjoyed having his head brushed since the beginning. Highly recommend this set.

The brush is adorable and the boar's hair is soft and perfect for a baby's fine hair. The only downside is the quality. When I received it, I washed the bristles in luke warm water and mild soap and dried it, bristle side down, overnight. The next day, I found the wood warped and cracked in two places. I had to return it and didn't bother to exchange it because I figured they would all do that. I read in another person's review that this had happened to theirs too but figured that it was just that particular brush or that they didn't follow the washing instructions properly, but it's actually the brush itself. If I don't find another brand that I like just as much as this one, I'll buy another and try again.

I purchased this brush based on the good reviews that had been posted previously. I followed the Care instructions "Wash before initial use. Wash in warm water using mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. Air dry". The wood cracked within an hour and the bristles absorbed the soap!

It's a cute set. I want to like the product, but I am not happy constantly finding bristles in baby's hair after using the brush. I've used natural boar's bristle brushes for many years and have not seen such shedding. I'm surprised the brush isn't bald yet.

I use the brush for my newborn girl. I didn't use the comb yet but I think it will be good to use when my baby is older.

I got these for my daughter when she was born (now 20 months). They have been used daily, and they are still as great as when we first got them. The brush is good for smoothing out fine baby hair, and as hair grows thicker and longer, the comb is super for getting out snarls. The brush is soft and easy to hold. The teeth on the comb are the perfect width, fine enough for delicate hair, wide enough to catch knots.

They are so nice-looking, I plan on saving them for my daughter after we're done using them. They're an excellent quality set that can be used for many years.

I have never been so disappointed in a product or in the customer service I received from amazon. Previously, when an item has been defective, they have at least offered to replace it, if not refund payment.

I ordered two of these at Christmastime, one for my niece and one for my daughter when she got old enough and had enough hair. Finally I think she has enough hair to brush! I followed the package instructions, which said to wash with warm soapy water before initial use, and the brush warped, flaked, and cracked in half!

I reported the issue to amazon and they refused to do anything because the return period had expired.

Buyer beware! If you are one who strictly follows instructions regarding items your baby uses, as I am, don't waste your money on this piece of junk!

I bougth this for a gift to my cousin and she is really happy with them. She said that it's the best gift that I gave her. Good material, really good!!!
