These bags were great! I will say probably as good as name brand but at a better price, will definitely purcahse these bags again.

These bags were very inexpensive but we tried them anyway. There is no performance difference in name brand or generic ( we have now tried them both ). We will buy these bags again. As soon as when needed.

Fits my Orek hand vac (the one you get when you purchase an uprigh Orek). I was nervous I was buying the wrong type, but not true; this fits fine, works well and is a bit cheaper.

Why do I rate these bags as better than Oreck's? They have a closure attached. Once the bag is full, you can paste the attached paper across the opening, thus sealing in the dirty contents. If you use your vacuum to pick up the stink bugs that are invading our houses this season, you will be very pleased to know they cannot escape back into the house.

Of course, if your filled vacuum bags always go instantly into the outside trash, then you'll only prefer these bags for the money you save!

They are the same size and shape, they work great, they cost less, and they give you that added peace of mind.


The cost of replacement bags has always bothered me about Oreck. Most vacuums, you can buy the bags fairly cheaply in the grocery store. Oreck bags, I had to pay top dollar at an Oreck store. I am very pleased to find these inexpensive replacements.!

I think is great we can find these at great products instead of having to pay Oreck the inflated prices they charge.

third time we have ordered these. easy to get (shipped via amazon prime) and much less than the oreck bags (and we don't notice the difference). great buy!

These are plain old "generic" vacuum cleaner bags which fit Oreck handheld vacuum cleaners. They are made by a company called Envirocare, who also makes cheaper replacement bags for virtually every other manufacturer. These were WAY less expensive than the Oreck-branded bags - though I should note that as of January 2011 you can get this identical item for even less from a different seller on Amazon!

These bags are actually better than the Oreck ones, as they have a little self-adhesive flap that one can use to cover the entry hole when the bag is full to avoid dust and dirt from blowing/falling out of the hole. These last an equally short period as the genuine Oreck; like any bagged vacuum, the pores in the bag material clog either quickly or *very* quickly, depending on the fineness of the material being vacuumed. As the pores clog, one loses suction. This particular Oreck vacuum cleaner has such a tiny surface area of its bag that it loses suction very rapidly. Of course, the only way around that is to get a good bagless vacuum such as a Dyson, which doesn't have the continual expense and hassle of having to buy replacement bags all the time.

There are no stores to purchase these bags close to home so very convienent to buy off line.

I keep buying these generic bags from Amazon simply because the Oreck store in town asks for 150% markup on the same package of 12. I go for what's cheaper, there is no need to look for a brand for such a small vacuum cleaner.

These are inexpensive and work. They also have a seal that goes over the bag after you remove it.
